Visualizing the commercialization of open source

This morning I had a few hours to myself in a jetlagged induced stupor. It was refreshing to sit and watch the sunrise, yet disappointing to realize I had driven to work only to be locked out for an hour. So I had some time to ponder. Being the visual person I am, I think that a picture can help us understand (or simplify) things. (Or over-generalize them). So while I was sitting there thinking, I thought of the relationship between Commercialization and Open Source. Without further ado, here's my creation:
I think I'll leave this post at that. Later I'll post some more arrows along with ideas. Thoughts? Make sense? Do we see any trends? Feel free to share your comments. (I can upload the svg file if people want to "fix" it...)
